RE: is there anything a PTR1 can do not available on PTR2

Hello,
I believe that is only the heading/section locations that trigger the
creation of a new audio file. page numbers and groups do not cause a new
file to be created.
The Plextor Recording Software Pro is the same as the PRS you have, but they
sell it separately, as a software product. This software is used extensively
for in home recording of DAISY books. Some organizations use it in studio
recording as well.
It sounds like some folks here would like to see a utility that would put
the MP3 id tags in the audio files that correspond to navigation points in
the DAISY DTB. I suppose this is for the audio centric people doing things
in Sound Forge and other sound editing tools. It is hard to tell what your
requirements would be. I would bet that somebody like IRTI could do this in
a heartbeat. So, this is not impossible, it is just that nobody has
requested it before.
