Hi, there is of course an article about the pls file format at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PLS_(file_format)That maid be helpful if you would like to create your own pls file. The main specification for the file is as follows (from Wikipedia):
Header [playlist] : This tag indicates that it is a Playlist File Track Entry Assuming track entry #X FileX : Variable defining location of stream. TitleX : Defines track title. LengthX : Length in seconds of track. Value of -1 indicates indefinite. Footer NumberOfEntries : This variable indicates the number of tracks Version : Playlist version. Currently only a value of 2 is valid. If you right click on a pls file, Edit, it look like this: [playlist] File1=http://stream.laut.fm/alpenradio-volksmusik?.wma Title1=Alpenradio Length1=-1 NumberOfEntries=1At last the entry behind file1>URL-to-the-stream> is needed in the pls file.
There some audio formats and/or bitrate the PTP1 can't use. So not any file you create will work in PTP1.
