I purchased my p t r about a year ago and have been trying to find the best
use for it every since. What I mean is, I have a lot of audio equipment and
several places it would work well. Bottom line is, my plextalk now occupies a
place of prominence by my chair in our living room. I have many audio sources
coming to my receiver at my chair and need to record something from time to
time.
My question is just this. I would like to tern off the sleep timer and just
leave the machine on all the time. Of course what I am wondering is, will this
shorten the life of the p t r or will it even matter in the long run.
I have several pieces of gear I leave on all the time and that fact doesn't
seam to affect in any way. I even think some times that may be best. All ideas
will be taken in to consideration.
