John, Have you tried running the uninstall with the PTR2 connected? I don't think that this is necessarily a requirement but it's worth trying it. You will need the PTR2 connected in any case for the installation of the new version. The only other thought is to do with user rights on your PC. I am presuming that you are logged in as administrator when you are running the uninstall? Well, I had version 2_01_17E on my system, and hence, dutifully tried to remove it as instructed. Well, the subject line of this post should give you a clue of what's happening here. Despite successive uses of both "add and remove" and windows clean-up 3.1, the older plextalk software is still on my system, though both "add and remove" and windows clean-up show it as being gone. How do I know that the software is stil on my system, the shortcut icon is still on the desktop, and when I enter on it, the plextalk software comes right up. Of course, there's no "uninstall" option given under the plextalk listing in the start menu. Can anyone help with this problem?
