I may be wrong but I don't think those small intervals are actually jumped
accurately, anyhow. By the time it's finished saying the time interval,
it's changed. I haven't timed it to check though.

I agree that the initial time intervals are too close together prior
to 30 seconds. And, there is not enough gradation between 1 and 5
minutes. I'm not settled on what the actual time intervals should be.
