Thank you.  I would appreciate if you would give me the number for IRTI.  I
tried other suggestions such as removing the battery to reset the machine
but to no avail.  On another note...how long is the battery life for these
machines?

I would suggest you call IRTI as I believe they have a few disc drives
left for the PTR1's.  I don't know if all of the parts they have are
brand new, but they can probably get it running for you.  Do you have
their number?  If not let me know and I'll get it for you.  Johnkno
