How about chaning the name of this list to Plextalk? I at first
thought it only dealt with the PTR1! (grin!)

Daveed, I use a Sandisk 4 Gigabyte flash card in the PTR2 without any problems. I think somebody wrote in another list, that he uses an eight gb card in the Plextalk. So there doesn't seem to be any size limit.
I once recorded a very long file in PCM on the Plextalk. It didn't stop at 2 gigabytes, if I remember correctly. So I believe, that you can record PCM Wave files of up to 4 gigabytes in the PTR2. 4 gigs is the size limit for a file in the FAT32 file system, which the PTR2 uses. However, there are some programs, which will only open Wave files with a size of up to two gigabytes. Sound Forge might have this limitations, when you try to open a Wave file larger than two gigabytes on a FAT32 partition. In any case, you should have no problems with 4 gigabyte CF cards from Sandisk.
