Hi Vic, Thanks for the details there. It seems the user is unable to write to "c:\program files" so you need to install it where you have write privileges. Like in your home folder, My documents or whatever they call it. Launch the installer and select another location where prompted to browse for where to install. The zip archive is really easy to use, just unzip it somewhere. you can create a desktop shortcut and have it do "javaw -jar c:\vernicepathtounzipped\javapskmail.jar" Or you can just launch javapskmail.jar within the new folder. 73 de Per, sm0rwo sön 2010-05-02 klockan 20:45 +0100 skrev victor maddex: > Hello Per, > > thanks for the fast reply, I have tried out your installer, running it > as my user, my user has adminstrator rights, I get the same error I > got with the previous version, I did not try running as administrator. > > a window titled install error says "you do not have permissions to > write to C:\program files (x86)" > > > Let me know if you want me to try any others, I thought I would give > you this feedback before I try to work out what I need to do with the > zip archive. > > Regards > > Vic > > > > ______________________________________________________________________ > Get a new e-mail account with Hotmail - Free.
