You stop the server by doing a control-c in the terminal the server runs in.
You can set the aprs status message by changing
my $serverstatus = "to a new value";

in pskmailrc.pl.

Thankyou for the information is there a users guide with all the
instructions somewhere I could look at ?
how do I shut down the server without rebooting and how does one notify the
aprs that you are going off line ect.
