Hi Vic, Great that it worked! I listened for you a couple of times but had to go in and read for the kids (it was a bit late). Signals were not so great when I listened so it was good that it worked anyway. Regarding the connect I think that may be the autolink feature? The client will try to link to a server so that aprs messages for you can be routed through a certain server. You can stop that by unchecking the autolink checkbox on the aprs tab. If you take out the call of the server then it has no server to link to, I guess that should work too. When you want to connect you have to put it back so unchecking autolink should be easier. 73 de Per, sm0rwo ons 2010-05-26 klockan 12:16 +0100 skrev victor maddex: > > Hello, > > I have been getting on well with JPSKmail 0.5.2.0 on my trip last > week, with no ADSL or GPRS I collected my email headers and a couple > of messages, also sent a few emails. > > I was a little confused when jpskmail seemed to continue to try and > connect to the server call I had configured, it seems if I run the > software and do not request a connect, every ten minutes or so it > insists on transmitting a connect request, I have pressed abort and it > still seems to keep trying? is this correct?, am I missing something?, > I eventually took out the call (SM0RWO) to make it quiet. > > Thanks for any help. > > Regards > > Vic > > G0RAS > > > ______________________________________________________________________ > Get a new e-mail account with Hotmail - Free.
