Hi Jesus, I got the following answer from W3NR, who is a fldigi expert:

Can you encourage Jesus to install the binary rather than the source.
Unless he has a specific reason, the binary only requires libhamlib2,
libportaudio2 and maybe libsamplerate.
This is a guess on my part, but I would say he is either using an old
version of FLTK or compiled FLTK without using the 2 needed configure
switches enabling xft and threads. If this is the case he is going to
need many added libs to get FLTK to compile.
But as I said this is just a guess on my part.
