Thanks,I did it and saw no "DEFAULTMODE" entry in the configuration.xml file and do not understand why I cannot save these settings. I'm also running Linux (Ubuntu 10.04LTS).

There are 2 'OK' buttons. The top one is for setting the mode table and the default. The bottom one leaves the Prefs dialog.Hit ctrl-S before you leave the screen... You can check if its saved by looking at the configuration.xml file, the key you want is 'DEFAULTMODE'. I have tested this only on Linux.... watch for any error messages.... A table that works nicely is: PSK500-PSK500R-PSK250R-PSK125R-THOR22-THOR11 set Default to PSK500R (PSK250 in USA). 73, Rein PA0R -- http://pa0r.blogspirit.comHow can you save your settings ? I input my setting then click on OK or CTRL-S but this setting is not saved. Same question for the default mode ? When I look again to Edit>Prefs>Modes all cases are blank as if I had done nothing before. Actually I'm a little confused with the Mode>Set server mode, which I can do each time I start jPSKMail and the possibility to save permanent settings. Currently my 1.3.7 starts in MFK32, which I have never selected ! 73, jcglt FK8IH
