I called it toto.bat but got the same result
I have installed an old version of java and re-installed jpskmail but still it
doesnt open

Ok, then there must be another jpskmail file or link, which is in the
path of executable programs. Try renaming your jpskmail.bat file in
jpskm.bat

Did you by chance name the batch file javapskmail.bat ?
If so, it is calling itself, not the javapskmail.jar executable program.
Name the batch file something else, jpskmail.bat for example.

java -jar c:\Program Files\jPSKmail\javapskmail.jar
pause
It runs at an old Windows XP Laptop, I don't know if it works on Windows
7 as well.

I think I couldn't help you in this case. I have a windows free zone and
use Linux only for the daily work on my computers.
I start jpskmail always in a terminal session with the command:
java -jar javapskmail.jar
If there are any problems the error messages could give me a hint what
could be wrong.
This should also be possible in a "DOSBOX" in your Windows environment.
I've never had a java error message relating to a security certificate.

Thanks for answering to my email.
I start jpskmail by a double clic. I have not spent any time in debuging
as I am sailing and had no time free so far.
It happened sudenly. Pskmail was not decoding then I just stopped and
restated but then could not launch again.
After de-intalling and re-installing jpskmail and java I still cannot ru
pskmail.
I have seen on different forums thet I am not alone unable tu run a .rar
file but no solution is given.
I suspect a recent Windows update could be the root cause.
I will inform you as soon as I find the cause or even a solution.

Have you tried to start it in a DOS box to take a look if there are any
java error messages ?
