On a similar note, I thought I might try PSK mail on 2m ssb, as a trial,
to get used to the software, between my hom QTH and mobile.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hi Ed,

No, 30 meters will not be a good choice. Groundwave will be gone by then
and skywave is not yet available, you will be in the skip zone. 80 meters and NVIS is what I would recommend.

We are leaving for a camping trip this Thursday, the camp site is about 60-70 miles from here. Will 30 meters be a good choice at this distance for a decent reliable connection between a server at home and a client from the camper. TIA

Thanks for the input Per. I've never done any close in work before and was just looking for some suggestions.

Hope the house moving is going well
