I have released a new server this morning, version number is 0.6. The following changes have been incorporated: * Another bug fix for 'listmail'. The previous bug fix only erased one single or double quote, it was necessary to remove every occurrance of quote characters from the 'From:' and 'Subject:' lines. This bug fix is critical, so please update your server. * New server commands: ~SPEED63!, ~SPEED125!, ~SPEED250! These commands only work when the server is in CONNECTED mode. They switch the speed of the server on the fly. The commands are supported by the new Client, which will also be issued today. * New server command: ~QSY! This also works only in CONNECTED mode. When the server receives this command it will try to QSY to a frequency which has been specified in the $traffic_qrg variable in pskmailrc.pl For all this to work the following must be in place: * Scanning is on ( $scanner = "F";) * There is a value in $traffic_qrg ($traffic_qrg = 10146750; ) This new function enables you to perform longer operations on a frequency which is not disturbed by APRS beacons of other users. The server will return to default speed and default frequency within 1 minute after disconnect. I have tested the new functions on PI4TUE. It takes some time to get used to it, as the client has to switch manually to the new speed viz. the new frequency. It is another field for experimentation, only to be used by experienced users :) For existing installations you only need to replace the following files (e.g. from the SVN repository): * rflinkserver.pl * arq.pm (server version) * pskmailrc.pl (only change is added variable $traffic_qrg).
