Rein,

Installed and did some tests. It is looking really good. I like the
rsid sequencing. It works well.

The only thing I noticed is that it does not return the RXrsid ON
after a disconnect.

I just added one line in the scanner section, before the scan mode
tests, to systematically re-set RX rsid on and that seems to do the
trick. But I think we need a re-set of RxRSID after disconnect too in
case someone does not use the scan option.

Also did a lot of testing of Fldigi's RSID receiving and there is
definitely an issue regarding the sensitivity BEFORE the data is sent.

If I enable post-frame RSID transmission, I get a much higher rate of
mode change than by using the pre-frame one only.

Something to look into since it is not practical and effective to use
the post-frame RSID transmission (the data is already gone and there
is an extra 1.5 sec delay after the data is sent).

I will have a look at the RSID code in Fldigi to see if there is a
difference between the two and will refer to Dave about this for help.

Going bush this weekend so should have a fair bit of testing done.

73s,

John
