Hi, To me it looks like the error is in the message: "Couldn't send TO <>" meaning there is no address to send to. If it had said "Couldn't send TO <user@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>" then it would have been another case. This can also occur if there is no known sender, i.e. if the clients user data is not ok at the server. I suggest you try agn but make sure you upload your user data before you do that and also create a new message for that test. 73 de Per, sm0rwo P.s. It may also be that the sysop at that server only wants aprs and does not accept email. sön 2010-01-31 klockan 09:53 +0100 skrev roberto: > Hy all, > > Any news regarding debugging the Intermar mail problem? > > Today using Intermar client when sending INET mail to DK4XI-40, obtained > still same error: > > Receiving email > Error sending mail : Couldn't send TO <>: 555 5.5.2 Syntax error. > 15sm1587986bwz.8 > at /usr/local/share/pskmail_server/rflinkserver.pl line 3111 > > > Tnx, Roberto IK3DJC > > > -----Messaggio originale----- > Da: pskmail-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:pskmail-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] Per > conto di Rein Couperus > Inviato: Tuesday, January 19, 2010 10:13 AM > A: pskmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > Oggetto: [pskmail] Re: Fw: Re: Re: Error when sending mail continue... > > OK, then you have written the mail manually without using the 'NEW' function > of the client. > The 'NEW' function automatically inserts the spaces after To: and Subject: > If you write the mail manually you have to insert the spaces yourself. > > > 73, > > Rein PA0R > > > Hi Rein, > > just tested with jPSKmail-0.4.1 > > I dont think that this is client problem. > > 73 tom > > > > > > ~SEND > > 20:51 UTC Jan-18-2010: Receiving mail > > To:info@xxxxxxxx > > Subject:test20 > > test20. > > . > > Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at > /usr/local/share/pskmail_server/rflinkserver.pl line 1836. > > Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at > /usr/local/share/pskmail_server/rflinkserver.pl line 1842. > > 20:51 UTC Jan-18-2010: SMTP TLS requested, no debug info available.. > > ::Receiving email > > > > 20:51 UTC Jan-18-2010: Connection open... > > Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at > /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/Net/SMTP/TLS.pm line 295, <GEN0> line 8. > > 20:52 UTC Jan-18-2010: <SOH>0!s!""C06B<EOT> > > 20:52 UTC Jan-18-2010: > Status : last=1 good=2 end=2 missing= > > PSK250R T=0 LQ=0 BL=6 > > Change mode to PSK250 > > ::Error sending mail : Couldn't send TO <>: 555 5.5.2 Syntax error. > d6sm11383911fga.19 > > at /usr/local/share/pskmail_server/rflinkserver.pl line 3111 > > > > > > > > On Mon, 18 Jan 2010 11:29:10 +0100 > > Rein Couperus <rein@xxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > > > There MUST be a space between To: and address. > > > There MUST be a space between Subject: and subject. > > > > > > The jpskmail client does not have this problem. > > > Could this be an error in the Intermar client? > > > > > > 73, > > > > > > Rein PA0R > > > > > > > ~SEND > > > > 15:01 UTC Jan-17-2010: Receiving mail > > > > To:info@xxxxxxxx > > > > Subject:Mailtest20 > > > > test. > > > > . > > > > Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at > /usr/local/share/pskmail_server/rflinkserver.pl line 1836. > > > > Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at > /usr/local/share/pskmail_server/rflinkserver.pl line 1842. > > > > 15:01 UTC Jan-17-2010: SMTP TLS requested, no debug info available.. > > > > ::Receiving email > > > > > > > > 15:01 UTC Jan-17-2010: Connection open... > > > > Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at > /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8/Net/SMTP/TLS.pm line 295, <GEN1> line 8. > > > > 15:01 UTC Jan-17-2010: <SOH>0!s",,641E<EOT> > > > > 15:01 UTC Jan-17-2010: > Status : last=2 good=12 end=12 missing= > > > > PSK250R T=0 LQ=2 BL=6 > > > > ::Error sending mail : Couldn't send TO <>: 555 5.5.2 Syntax error. > 15sm886083bwz.12 > > > > at /usr/local/share/pskmail_server/rflinkserver.pl line 3111 > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > -- > > Thomas Andreas DJ4WL <info@xxxxxxxx> > > INTERMAR e.V. <dj4wl@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx> > > > > >
