That signalink box is "just" an soundcard and, if I'm not mistaken VOX ptt.
An better solution for the Pi range of micro computers would be an sound
card an GPIO ptt.
So far the most compact options for sound cards are the smal USB cards.
They can be found all over the web for an variable amount of $. Often
related to quality.
I have found an kick starter project with what seems like an decent sound
option for an pi zero. These guys al ready have options for the bigger
versions

Than it's up to the maker of the software/modems to include gpio ptt as an
option. ARDOP uses gpio 17 for ptt, I belive you have a choice of several
pins in FLDIGI.
The hardware is easy enough to build. Just an resistor and an optocoupler.
