Hi Bart,

tnx for the report... we are beta testing jPSKmail-1.4 at the moment, and your
input is very valuable.

I will try to comment the points 1x1:

>Using jPSKMail 1.0, Windows 7, latest updates. fDigi 3.21.11.
>

jPSKmail-1.0 should be stable... although probably not well tested on
windoze...we need more widoze testers...

We used to have a Sent folder, it has disappeared in the process... I will
include it in the next beta.
The java error was probably a side effect of the config file not being
completely populated yet...

This must have a different cause, you use GET MAIL in the headers tab, and OPEN
MAIL in the Inbox tab... so there
can be no problem.

RTFM. To delete mails you need to give the numbers.

>= Later, I connect to DL9YCS-3.
>= After connection, I click on _Send_ . It says: Trying to send your mail...
>= I see a longer packet going out to PI4TUE, in the middle of my connection to
>DL9YCS. ???
>= However, I see DL9YCS reply with a "Receiving email"
>= From this point on, nothing happens anymore, except 'keep-alive' packets
>going forward and backwards.
>= When I try the "Send" button again, another packet goes out to PI4TUE !

What you see is not a packet going to PI4TUE, but the bundle header of the
message going to
DL9YCS-3. In case of internet email message upload the destination call is not
used. It is there
for compatibility reasons, and will be used for CALL to CALL mail in future.
It is possible the connection got stuck because you were using version 1.0
which is not 100% compatible
with the server version of DL9YCS-3. When you abort the connection and
reconnect the
upload will resume.

>= I try to QUIT the connection. A QUIT packet goes out... But DL9YCS is not
>responding to it! I cannot close the connection.
>= I then ABORT the connection. This does not seem to work either.
>
QUIT and ABORT work fine. I guess there was a mode compatibility problem,
meanwhile these problems
have been solved in jPSKmail-1.4.3

On each connect the session data is reset. When you connect the next server,
and it has no transaction record of the document
you want to upload it will accept it from byte 0.

Again this looks like a mode selection problem. Pse upgrade to version 1.4

Right click on the screen ("save selection as file").

Thanks Bart... I will send you a current image of javapskmail.jar (1.4b2).
