Ok on the sound issue. I have looked a bit at that and one of the pages
I found had a bunch of stuff in conf.modules added. That page is here:

It should certainly be possible to get sound on a real install, with the
live cd it could be difficult. If I alter the live cd then I don't know
if it will work with anything else.
Yes, its possible to relase an iso that can install. I have so far not
included that and the reason being that it will mess up someones
harddisk (as you said). Dont get me wrong here, draklive-install (as its
called) is really easy to use and works well. Its just that murphys law
will cause problems somewhere and if I don't include it then murphy
stays away. While I'm thinking about getting draklive-install in there
you can perform the install anyway (if you are in a hurry) :-)
