We (mainly PA3DSC) have done some repair work on the PI4TUE server.
The antenna array on the roof was broken, in fact only the 28 MHz antenna was
still connected, and the balun
had a loose connection. It is a miracle I was still able to work via this
server on 30 meters this
morning :) It shows that an antenna installation at 200 ft needs special
measures to survive the winds.
Anyway, the dipole array has been replaced by a single 30 metres dipole and the
scanner has been switched off
for the duration of my holiday trip. (Makes it easier for Sergej to test his
windows software :)
The server was S7 here now. This compares to S9+20dB for SM0RWO...
