Hi All,
First, thank you to all of you who have helped me so far. I'm getting
closer.
I now have a serial port and a USB connection working, thanks to the
previous help. I can change frequency on my K2 and the frequency display
changes on my fldigi screen. However, I can not send a command from fidigi
to the transceiver, like change frequency, or center the display, or go into
transmit. I do get an error at the bottom of the fldigi screen that says
"Get Mode: Hamlib getMode error". I am using Elecraft K2 or Kenwood TS570S
emulation and hamlib control and PPT is not selected. Baud is 4800.
I tried controlling the radio from MixW in windows at it still works so the
cables are OK.
It does the same thing when connected directly into com 1 serial port, or
the USB/serial converter so the converter seems to work OK.
