Short answer: Yes, yes and yes :-) I'm sorry you had trouble, I don't know the specs of those pc's but if you can get ubuntu to work then use that. Just plug the Signalink interface in and have a look, if it works as its supposed to then you should be able to use it right away. Try the fldigi binary, should work as is. But, Ubuntu 6.06 is pretty old now. I have one pc using 7.10 here and it works fine. 7.10 should support more hardware and that could be just what the signalink needs. 73 de Per, sm0rwo P.s.
