It was operator error as I had the sever running before I set up pskmailrc.pl. When I restarted it everything was fine. I realized this when I did the grep -r thing and it didn't find the file.
I do have a server set up on 10.147 using psk125 but I don't think there is anyone on this side of world listening.

The use of a separate beacon script is deprecated, that is now a task for the server itself. You will have to tell the server what its call is.... look in pskmailrc.pl and edit the MYSERVER.73, Rein PA0R-----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- Von: pskmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Gesendet: 25.12.06 07:07:35 An: pskmail@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Betreff: [pskmail] Latest Live DistroHi, I downloaded the latest distro which includes both server and client. Getting the server working was no problem except for the life of me I cannot find the beacon script so I can change it to send out my call sign. It must be somewhere as it sends out "MYSERVER". I have a sever using Ubuntu and it works fine and I can find the beacon script. Your help would be appreciated. Darrel, VE7CUS-- http://pa0r.blogspirit.com
