Still working on this one. I attempted to fix the non operating Gtk without
apparent results:
[root@localhost mail]# yum install Gtk2::GladeXML

Also looking at the 'chown' comments re my setup and Luck's I presume I can
change these settings (using the GUI) for the folders concerned by resetting
the permissions properties to allow others to read/write
