It is quite easy to convert the GPS numbers to APRS format.
If you start from decimal degrees (the format used for the pskmail client)
you
subtract the full degrees and multiply the rest by 60.
You then concatenate both strings. Use leading zeros with the degrees.
The latitude has 2 characters (00-90), the longitude 3 (000-179).
Example:
GPS value G.ggggggg
APRS value :
dd = G
mm.mm = gggggg * 60
APRS string = ddmm.mmN
