Ok Rein, something is stored ;-)

Whenever I disable Thor11 and enable Thor4, modes are still stored with Thor11, not Thor4. In my case
7653d
, sometimes
7653e
So it looked to me as if the change was not stored. Different, when you click i.e. PSK500 on and off.

Thor11 is not in the list of modes, but in the list of default modes?

Good idea to remove the "Fix list" button. Took me a while before I realized, that it simply updates the list of items in the combo box and does not establish a reasonable standard list or make the selected modes persistent or whatever you could do by a "fix" :-).

Somehow I would like to get rid of the "Fix list" button entirely. I'd
like the list to reload whenever a mode is selected/removed. I'll look
into it...

I noticed that if I don't press the Fix List button the table is not
saved, which is a good thing otherwise it would save
an inconsistent table.

         Just checked in jPSKmail-1.5.7:

         * Preferences->Edit->Modes
         * Check or uncheck the modes
         * Hit 'Fix list button'
         * Choose default mode with spinner
         * Hit OK

         That writes the mode table to the .pskmail/configuration.xml
         file
         Example:
76543

         Works here (on Linux).
