Unfortunately our java client uses the ancient MicroSoft(TM) end-of-line character(s) when it runs on Windoze(TM). Fldigi normally removes the end-of-line character form a command string, but does so only for Linux. Dave is working on a solution for fldigi, so the poor windoze(TM) users will also be able to use pskmail properly... Windows(TM) needs an extra end-of-line character to make sure the printing carriage of your monitor moves to the beginning of the next line in time for the next one. This is not a new problem, 4 years ago I wrote a small blog entry about the same windows(TM) feature: http://pa0r.blogspirit.com/archive/2006/03/04/beware-of-the-typewriter.html Have a nice 2010! 73, Rein PA0R -- http://pa0r.blogspirit.com
