1.3.4 is using background service for updates. Since WM5, services have 
different security model. So it might be the source of problems people 
are encountering. It worked for me (WM2003SE) and one tester with WM5.

1.4.0.x is using different approach. But the periodical updates does not 
work reliably until 1.4.0.5 (it is buggy). It should be better in 
1.4.0.6 that is going to be out for testing very soon. Still some ugly 
bug there that I'm not able not find and fix. Therefore such a delay. My 
preliminary tests were ok, but we will see if it is going to work for 
the others.
