Hey guys,

So like I said yesterday, I had the best success with
visualization with the Protein explorer. You can zoom
select certain sequences and all the sequences around
it and you can rotate the molecule any way you choose.

To download protein explorer:

Go to
http://www.umass.edu/microbio/chime/regisfrm/doorway.htm
and click on download protein explorer only.

In order to use Protein explorer you'll need to use
Chime which you can get at:

http://www.mdli.com/downloads/downloadable/index.jsp

You'll need to login and you can do so using:

login: proteamdavis
password: pm6jxL

Then from the drop menu select MDL chime to download.

If you are curious as to how to I did my pictures that
I brought or are having difficulty using the program,
talk to me (the program is rather un-user friendly, I
had sift through the entire help page everytime I
wanted to do something even fairly simple like
selecting a specific sequence.)

Shankar
