How bizarre.
There was a guy with a similar problem on the Adobe FrameMaker
forums this week - his Frame just suddenly started crashing when
launched. And no amount of re-installs cured it.
We suspected there was some .INI file or sthg somewhere
he wasn't clearing out, but all the same, these things shouldn't just happen!
Perhaps Adobe products are having some sort of millenium bug this week. (?!?)

Oh I see, so it's *Distiller* which is crashing when launched,
not an error message from the distillation itself?

That's a different matter entirely!

If I were you I would uninstall *all* my Adobe applications,
and clear out all my Windows temp files etc,
*THEN REBOOT*,
make sure everything really is gone (e.g. "Adobe PDF" printer instances etc)
and then re-install your Adobe apps.
And then go to Adobe's website and check you have all the latest updates installed.

Of course, doing all that may well take about an hour!
But, that's what I would do,
since I mainly use them at work and, hey! what better way to kill an hour ;-)

Tried it. Didn't work. ;_;
