I've gone through the Highway Holocaust list and taken a good stab at the pending issues. As you can see, the list is substantially shorter now

Brilliant. In view of the rejection of Section 83 (Electra-glide -> Electra-Glide), 183 (Six-pac -> Six-Pac) can also be rejected.

Jon, I think you said that the Zapf Elliptical font was available for free download. Would it be possible to add this to our site? Or at least link to the site it can be downloaded from? That way, we could simply default to Souvenir for anyone who does not want to download the new font.

I'm no chemist, so I won't wade into that debate except to say that 'sulphur' is the typical UK spelling today rather than American 'sulfur'. Whether that affects sul(ph/f)onamides is up to someone more conversant with the chemicals than I am!

On the subject of cardinal directions, I never noticed the this section of the PAMOS before, is it new? Regardless, I've come up with a list of consistency changes:

D'oh! I forgot about the Grey Star ones! >_<

I'll leave you to add them to the Errata lists, Iain. ;-)

I've also constructed a range of possible replacement illustrations for the number puzzle in 01HH (152), however AFAIK if we want to supply alt-text for the illustrations for use by the visually impaired users, this will require changes to the XSL. Can people take a look at the options and make comments/suggestions?

Oh, I like those! They're obviously digital, and completely legible . I would certainly prefer those in the book that a plain, boring table. IMHO #6 is the best layout, FWIW.
