I would love to work on the beast room once the biobeastie is all finished. I 
really enjoy the theme, and I think doing the room would be a good next step 
for challenging my skills and aesthetics. I like how things have been going. 
And since I have got my texturing workflow figured out, I just need to practice 
honing that to become more efficient.
 
So ERIC =) If its okay boss, Can I do the biobeastie chamber? I know you 
mentioned that we can see how it goes as we cross that bridge. =) I am just 
excited is all. Whatever you think it best for the team and the game is what I 
want to do. I would love to also contribute to the props n such if you think 
that would be more suitable. Just let me know what you think as you figure it 
out and decide how you want things to roll.

Hey guys, that time of the week again.  An incredible amount of
artwork has been done this week, so feel proud about that!

Another thing I wanted to mention that might not be as obvious is that
our teamwork has ascended to new levels lately.  It's sooo important
in a project like this to be in sync with your teammates, and that
kind of thing just breeds a special kind of atmosphere that can make
some really incredible things happen.

No matter how seemingly big or small a personal contribution may be,
when you put them all together, you get more than the sum of the
parts.  That is what makes me really happy when I look back at the
list of work this week and I really couldn't gush enough about it if I
tried.

Ok enough cheesy motivational speech, here's the list of stuff that
got done this week:

Eric - temple elevator, floor 1 and 2 halls, floor 2 room with 3
doors, misc other temple stuff
Alan - chat code for pirate dice, server upgrades.  Also, F1 cycles
camera mode in game now
Katie - major progress on biobeast texturing
Eliza - concept art sketches for the chamber of katie's biobeast
Ken - music for temple elevator and other wip's
Hanaan - prop ladder with rich texturing, as well as a light bulb and
crate props that haven't been uploaded to the list yet
Larvantholos - last i've seen is the tiki head from last week, but he
has other props in progress such as a jar
Kent - additional pirate dice polishing and bug fixes

Here are new things that we'll start working on and some new
assignments, as well as check-ups on old ones.  I'm going to address
some of you personally and then list some things that need to be
picked up as tasks.

Katie - you voiced interest in doing the beast chamber that Eliza
sketched up, if Eric signs off on that we can have that as your next
task.  I'm kind of psyched to see you building a room!
Eliza - would you like to color up your sketches?  We can use your
color schemes for the final beast room.  If not we'll get you the next
concept art task this week.
Alan - how is the network code coming?  Do you want to start on
wxwidgets this week or tackle that network lag issue first?
Kent - you're pretty much finishing up pirate dice and testing network
capability if I'm correct.  Do you need any resources assigned to you
for this, or do you need any final art polish?  We'll have to get more
people on the team testing out the network code as it matures.
Eric - a quick overview based on your info is that you'll get the next
2 rooms done and either build or delegate the beast room (should
probably delegate it, you've got quite a plate full!)  Also out of the
prop list you gave me, who do you want to do the bug models?  Those
will be great for ambiance.
Hanaan - your ladder was an amazing piece, this week I want to see the
other two models you are working on (curious to see them!)  Also, from
the list of models below, let me know if anything is something that
you really want to do.
Larvantholos - let me know, is your computer up and running again?
From the looks of your tiki head, we really want you on some more prop
work, these things will really bring life into the temple.

This is a list of art for the temple to get it finished, and some
pieces might be added or removed:

Layout: beast room, room before the beast room, basement area that you
fall to if you are tempted in the test hall, diamond tile, non-diamond
tiles
Props: tiki head masks, torches, bones, jars, bug models, props for
the beast room, skulls/bones

One last thing, if you have any additional things to add Alan let me
know.  I'm going to use the closing space here to remind you that
you're done one hell of an amazing thing getting this project to this
point. :)
