Hey, had an idea for a character modifier... Empathy?

basically if an allie gets a status ailment, there's some % chance that the
character who has empathy will absorb it instead.

Not sure if it would make sense for a small % chance (probably less %) that
the person with empathy will also absorb damage for other team mates as

I'm thinkin too it might be neat if there was a bunch of these modifiers -
like we were planning - but maybe characters you find out in the world have
these on them too.

The chars that don't matter as much or have to be a specific type of
character could have them randomly chosen too.

Maybe also there's classifications of these guys like...

#1 - common traits: each person gets N of these
empathy, long jump, quick reflexes, luck, etc

#2 - bad traits: each person gets N of these
fear of ghosts, fear of dark, obsession, blah blah blah

#3 - godly traits: maybe each person gets 1?
low health uber attack chance, extreme luck, etc

another random thought... maybe as you build your char you get X number of
common traits, Y number of bad traits and Z number of godly traits, but you
could take more bad traits for having more good trait points

Tossing these ideas out in case they sound good or inspire other ideas but
i'm not married to them (:
