*interesting comparison between the heliosphere and the ozone layer alan. by
extension i wonder if there is a galactic protective barrier maybe he he? i
just read an article about the shrinking heliosphere in the telegraph

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/northamerica/usa/3222476/Suns-protective-bubble-is-shrinking.html

this is a case where i have certain beliefs influenced by some ancient texts
that make me think it is likely that humans will be around well into the
3000's. but hey i am personally prepared to go at any time myself d:
interesting that you talk about asteroids joshua because one passage alludes
to something like that wreaking destruction in the future.

"And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven,
burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers,
and upon the fountains of waters; And the name of the star is called
Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men
died of the waters, because they were made bitter."

strangely the name wormwood in russian is chernobyl. however this is not the
end of planet earth- that comes later.

"...in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise and the
elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that
are therein shall be burned up."

interesting huh? anyway these are just the idle musings of a hack theologian
he he...
