Subject: [project1dev] Weekly update 8

We have been doing great with communication and progress lately. I
have nothing but good things to say about how stuff has been going -
Katie finished the Biobeast model, Kent is progressing with pirate
dice extremely well, and Alan has made several code upgrades that will
help a lot.

Things that were completed this week:

- Dialogue for the old man (was assigned last week, very good turnover!)
- Biobeast model

New and assigned tasks based on person:

Matt F:
- Create 2d images for pirate dice and a 3d dice model for them

Chris Sherman:
- Make more of the circus cage model

Katie:
- Start texturing the biobeast that you've completed

Eric:
- Write up a description of the beast chamber so Elizabeth can sketch
the interior

Alan: This is your personal todo list, let me know which of these you
are going to focus on this week.
- be able to specify a background song for a map from the editor
- be able to place sound objects in the editor
- bump map interface in editor and math upgrade
- investigate using WxWidgets for the editor, to hopefully make it a
lot easier to add things to the editor user interface - Priority 2
- UI_stuff upgrade, make a children array on objects instead of using
the children pointer like it's used now - Priority 3

One more important subject - Alan talked about getting more 3d artists
this week. If you guys have any friends that are interested in 3d
modeling, please let us know, because it's better to use people within
a network :) When everyone knows each other, it's easier to work
together. So if you have anyone that can contribute, bring em
forward!
