oh, that is a good thought.

Well hey eric, soemthing else is when you customize your 3d character, we
know what features you have...

we could just make a 2d portrait that has the same features (mustache style
/ color, hair style / color, eye style / color etc).  Basically the 3d model
is one representation of the choices you made, the 2d portrait is another
representation of the same customization data? :P
