I think 3.0 works with the sketch you did, I can work from that.

Granted it would be subject to my artistic interpretation of portrayal...
What I mean really is:
You could give a few different people the same exact concept and they would all
built/model it slightly different. With the models I have been doing personally
I have been coming up with colors/look, so I am cool with doing that unless
colors/design is something that they guys want done with the concept...?

If everyone agrees it is cool to go ahead with it, then I can start modeling
after I finish the wagon if EROCK is cool with that. I haven't checked in with
Eric as far as what is up next after we finish the fortune teller area. That
might affect it. Need to make sure to stick with his production schedule..=)

Anyway, let me know guys what you think and how we are looking schedule wise...

I have an extra day this weekend to work on the project so I am hoping I can
get some things wrapped up!

Okay, I'll work up some more designs along the lines of 3.0, different angles
and whatnot.
I hadn't realized that 2.0 looked like the Armored Bears...I was just going for
something bulkier and more muscular than 1.0.  I guess I need to be more
careful about those subconscious influences!

I agree with you Katie. I think keeping away form mainstream stuff is a good
idea. I like the way 3.0 looks more anyway

I am a big fan of biobeastie 3.0, that is much along the lines of what I was
thinking, but was not able to concept. I suck at concept drawing, etc...=(

Biobeastie 2.0 reminds me a lot of the polar bears with their armor in The
golden compass. I think it is a neat idea, but I think it would be easily
distinguishable and seen as too similar to those characters.

What do you guys think? I am just shooting from left field here...=)

I've attached the two more concepts I've come up with- biobeastie 2.0 was done
after people suggested a more biological and less mechanical look to the
beastie, and 3.0 was done with the steampunk idea in mind.  Please forgive my
ghetto color coding, all I had to color with was a couple of highlighters
(hooray for slacking at work!).  The green bits are fluids/tubes/wires, the
yellow is for brains/veins/biological bits, and the shaded silver parts are all
metal.

These are rough concepts.  Once we agree on a general shape/build for the
beast, I can work up detailed images with different views and proper colors.

I might be modeling it, it depends on if I get the go ahead from Eric and if no
one else was slotted to model it. I have only been doing props up to this
point, and there are some other peeps that have been handling characters, etc.
I want to make sure they are cool with it first.

I just had some really basic ideas. You should post what you got. It could be
very similar to what you had in mind. =) Maybe I could add on to what you have
already worked out...?

I'd love to see your concepts as well, Katie, especially since you're going to
be the one modeling it.  What did you have in mind?

Yeah, that would be cool.

I would be interested in modeling it, but that would all be up to Eric and what
he wants done...=)

I'm working on concepts still.  I was MIA for a week because I was down in LA,
but I can finish the ideas I've got if you guys are ready to start modeling it.
