I like the idea of having the attacks automatically pick the best one. If
close the dragon will bite, this can do extra damage. From far away it will
shoot out fireballs, ranged. Then maybe you could have a skill that you can
get that will add the wizard on for an extra attack. So the dragon will do
its regular 2 attacks and the wizard could do his own attack. From there we
could then have possible upgrades for the wizard such as a spread shot or
backwards attack (like gradius) or possible where 2 shoot out side by side.
The possibilities are endless.

We could also have dragon upgrades, more life, more melee damage for claws,
stronger or longer ranged fire.
