No no, what you sent a second ago is what I have in mind as far as creating all 
the characters in the game artwise, just a ton of combos.  By stylized I meant 
a stylized art form rather than super realistic - we'll design the body combos 
to match the default clothing/hair/weapons

ok so with your plan, one character is stylized one way and another
character is stylized another way, but they can both wear the same item.

how do you see that working out?
