Yeah Eric, a lot of what you said here actually melds perfectly with
what I envisioned for this character! Especially the team chemistry
ideals - that is a great way to express what I was trying to have him
be good at.

You can fit this character in any way you like if you decide to use
him. For any of the things I haven't expressly filled out in his
background, please feel free to brush in the details. I'll answer
your questions as well:

As for how his power influenced his personality - as he grew up, it
made him feel like he belonged and was important, even though he
couldn't fit in as well. This would lead him to try to take charge of
situations, but sometimes he would trip from lack of experience, and
that would take a blow on his confidence. All the while, he just
feels like he can do anything and change any event (a kind of reckless
abandon, that comes across as courage if you looked at it in a good
light), but he got too arrogant and it caused a majorly bad event in
his family (don't know what this is yet), which made him into his
current self. That would be the thing that taught him humility and is
where his ego led him the wrong way.

As for his setting, what exactly are you thinking about? Also let me
know if you want any more info to fill this in, it is definitely very
malleable!
