This is really nasty, wow..

That being said, the fast food was in a tightly closed space and had
lots of salt, so there may not have been enough moisture for mold or
bacteria to grow.  Adding a lot of salt to food is a natural
preservative.  Also, the other fries were in a paper bag, which is
very permeable to air.

I remember finding a really old mcdonalds burger in the fridge once -
it looked exactly the same as when it was bought.  It was disgusting!
