In a way, yes. I currently have a blog that I write and manage; I write the blog file, rename the blog from the previous day to a date, and copy the new blog and now renamed blog to my computer from my BrailleNote. I then run a .bat file that launches psftp.exe and uploads all the files in my "ftp" folder. Instead of all this I want to just go to a web page, type my entry, hit submit, and let everything be automated from there. I expected a server side language for this but I don't know any of them well enough to do it.

Have a great day,
Alex

Hi,
Why do you want to do this on the Web? Is this something where
you are
going to turn what someone writes in plain text into HTML and
store it
somewhere?

Thanks.

sounds like a php/cgi/python/asp.net application in the works to
me, smile.
most of those should be able to be made to take your information
and plop it
into a pre-setup that has the rest of the needed info good to go,
and put it
out as the document you need.

Subject: textarea question

Hi all,
I want to set up a page where I can type text into a textarea
and hit a
submit button. This button would take the text I wrote and
create a .html
file out of it, as well as adding some header and footer js code
to
include some js files. How can I do this? Thanks for any help.

Have a great day,
Alex
