yes, that's why I was, and currently still am, under the impression that having them installed with my VB.net and C# express IDE's is a good thing

I know that my available add in items/components is a lot larger in VB 6 with them added; still am not as comfortable in .net so haven't dug through all the items in it.

teddy,

are the .net frameworks listed either in control panel, administration tools
then arrow down through the list there should be items named;
"Microsoft .net 1.1 configuration"
and
"Microsoft .net 2.0 configuration"
listed in succession.

or in add/remove programs list (make sure the show updates checkbox is
checked) either of these should show that you have the frameworks installed

and, someone correct me if I am wrong, but for developing in them, you
should have the SDK's (system development kits) for at least 2.0 installed, since I am planning on trying out the robotics' development package from MS,
I have 1.1, 2.0 and the 3.0 SDK's installed.

Hi,

I tried to run the C# version, but it gave the following error:

.NET Framework Initialization Error
graphic 355 C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.5072\mscorwks.dll
could not be loaded
OK

Do you have any idea why? I hope I have the right version of .net.

Octavian

You got me interested in this topic since I hadn't created a tab control
before. I have now posted C# and AutoIt source code and executables at
http://www.empowermentzone.com/tab_control.zip
The keyboard navigation you mention is supported automatically.

Hope this helps,
Jamal

Subject: tab controls

Hi,

Does anyone know in which of the libraries for creating GUIS the tab
controls can be switched by using Control+Tab and shift+Control+Tab,
without
needing to write programming code for that?

For example, you've seen how the tab controls work in Jaws's
Configuration
manager. Well, I've seen that they don't work by default this way in SWT
or
Win32::GUI.

I don't remember if in WinForms (C#) the tab control allows switching
the
pages with control+tab, without writing a code for that...

I hope not only MFC supports that.

Thank you.

Octavian
