Everett, perhaps I should have been clearer in my remarks. There are several sets of drivers that come on the brailliant connect cd. I believe the only 1 she really needs to install is the jfw driver brailleConnect-brailliant-jfwDrv.exe. Generally folks think they need to install *all the drivers, which they don't, & that tends to create some horrendous problems. I think that's probably what's happening here. I've got the user guide now & can do a little more research, but this is my very preliminary conclusion. On 4/12/09, E.J.
