hi .
using sql server 2008 express.
doing a star trek site with visual web developer and sql server epxress.
saying that the sql express network services could not connect ot the
network.
using the sql management studio.
when i try to connect, says it cannot find the database engine.
when i try to run repair, says the network services could not be found a ms
file.
i think.
so what to do?
and have got power shell 1.0.
need this database, aas doing a lot of coding in visual web developer 2008
express.
and using the database.
so, should i try to uninstall and reinstall sql server management studio
2008.
what do you recommend.
when i installed a couple of months back or last month, installed.
was able to create a site, create a database in vwd, create the database and
tables in smse, connect to the database and see all my records, edit data in
tables, etc.
now what has gone wrong.
cheers marvin.
ps: a couple of friends will be able to help, but have to wait till 10 pm
tonight, as will be 7 am in the states.
what a pain the time difference is.
