Tyler,

Just FYI, I know the National Science Foundation, to my knowledge at least,
helps blind students try to make careers in computer science through funding
through various universities. Last I heard, there was a big NSF grant out of
the University of Washington, specifically designed to help blind/other
students with disabilities out. I've met a number of graduate students with
disabilities that have funding through that source and I don't "think" it's
required that one goes to that school

I don't know if it would lead to anything, and I don't know the academic
requirements (e.g., undergrad, grad, GPA, eligible schools), but you might
try digging through the accessibility websites at UW and seeing if you can
find any info on their programs (called an NSF academic alliance).
