The whole reason for an inputbox is for writing, so trying to do what
you describe is a control attribute conflict and the development
environment is very wisely refusing to work with you in this way.

Subject: rotecting html input box?

Hi all,
In a basic html form, how do I protect an input of type "text? I have
tried <input type="input" readonly name=..." but with no luck, and I
have moved the "readonly" keyword around and even tried
"readonly="true"" but all with no luck. I am using a Braillenote. Am I
doing it wrong, or am I getting it right but my notetaker is not
interpreting the readonly keyword?

Have a great day,
Alex
