I don't have an answer to this question, but I've used an accessible Java applet, so it should be possible to create accessible Java applets. If the applet was not made accessible though, I don't know if you can do something to make it accessible.

Hi everyone, I'd like to ask if there is any solution to read the information inside an aplet developed in java?I'm using an e-learning platform to follow the courses and they realized onechat with an aplet.I tried to use it but with jaws screen reader it's completely inaccessible.I even tried to ask from the instructors if they can change this chat with another chat more accessible but they said that for now they can't. Can you give me some advices if I can use it in other ways? have you ever encountered this problem? Thanks in advance best regards, Sauro __________ View the list's information and change your settings at //www.freelists.org/list/programmingblind
