Let me clarify that the 2.8 and 2.9 references were to the version of the wxPython GUI toolkit, not to the Python interpreter, itself. Regarding that, pyLbc supports Python versions 2.5 through 2.7, as far as I know.

Scream 2.8 ?  2.9???  hell I just finished using 2.7 to release something

wxPython, as well as 2.8.  Other bug fixes and documentation
improvements are also incorporated.  Special thanks go to Alex Hall for
